Anna and Tyler are Getting Married!

Anna and Tyler's engagement session was absolutely fabulous this past Sunday. We spent the evening roaming the grounds around a friend's river home and enjoying the late summer lighting. It was a fantastic backdrop! Their May 2008 wedding will be one to remember I'm sure, as these two are so much fun together (not to mention a beautiful couple!) Thanks again you two--I am thrilled to be working with you!

Fall Festivities

Last weekend I opened my front door and just took a deep breath of fresh cool air. Fall is finally here! Ok, so maybe we're still hitting the 90's during the day, but later that evening I couldn't keep myself from savoring my first caramel apple cider of the season. I absolutely love this time of year!

Jen and Thomas' Urban E-Session

Last Friday I met up with Jen and Thomas for their urban e-session in downtown Chatt..The first thing I noticed was how well they fit together--both in personality and with their outfits! Loved it. We had a great time and Thomas had plenty of hilarious comments to keep me cracking up pretty much the entire evening.

We ended the shoot at a very special spot called the Pickle Barrel. As the story goes, their very first date took place at this awesome tiny corner pub. It was one of their favorite spots downtown. After a few photos I left them at the pub to enjoy the rest their night but couldn't help thinking how pumped I am for their October wedding! Thanks again guys-you both are wonderful together!!

Nicole and Winston say "I Do"

On August 25th Nicole and Winston celebrated their big day at the Shadowbrook Mansion outside of Nashville, TN. They are one of the sweetest couples around--check out one of my new favorite shots below taken right after the ceremony when they were both just totally overwhelmed with tears of joy! How cool.

Nicole was absolutely stunning and her bright blue bridesmaid dresses were brilliant (say that 10 times)! Their outside wedding took place at 6:30 pm with a stunning sunset to top it off. Thanks you two for allowing Beau and I to be part of it all. Loved it!

I was thrilled when I ran into a previous bride of mine from June (check out Dixie and Glenn's wedding below). It was great getting to catch up with them a little, and it just felt so normal to get a picture of them too! They are cute as ever.

Megan and Demario are having a baby!

Last week I was honored to do a maternity shoot with Megan from A Moment in Time wedding coordinators (http://www.amomentintimetn.com/ ) in Cleveland, TN. I absolutely cannot narrow down my favorites--Megan was obviously glowing and I loved that she really thought through what she and Demario were wanting. Thank you guys for such a creative and artistic shoot and I cannot wait for baby Dalen's big arrival!

Kim and Craig's Urban E-Session

This past weekend Kim and Craig came up from Atlanta for their urban engagement session. The Bluffview Art District was beautiful in the evening light and we had a blast running all around Chattanooga (although it was close to 100 degrees for most of it--when will this heat let up?!)

Regardless of the heat they were adorable together and were absolutely hilarious to shoot with! You guys had me laughing for the better part of it all. Thanks again you two -- and I am really looking forward to your November wedding (with a little bit cooler temperatures)!
