Dixie and Glenn are married!

On June 16th we were commissioned to photograph Dixie and Glenn's Nashville wedding and it was one to remember. Dixie's stunning orange roses accented her victorian corset-backed dress beautifully and the ceremony was classic and sweet. I have to say, the reception gave way to some of the best line dancing I'd seen in a while. We just couldn't decide who were the better dancers--the Texans or Tennesseans! Thank you guys for letting Beau and I be a part of your big day.

Bianca and Josh

On June 9th we had the honor of working with Bianca and Josh on their wedding day. The ceremony and reception were both at the Fillhaur House in Cleveland and we couldn't have asked for a better backdrop! Meandering paths and antique barns gave us plenty of creative areas to explore. Bianca was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the laidback, yet high energy day! P.S. Bianca I still think your shoes were absolutely adorable!!!

Rachel and Brian's E-Session

This afternoon I had the priviledge to do Rachel and Brian's e-session at a nearby park. I think they win the prize for the ultimate wedding troopers! When we started the weather was great. Twenty minutes into it though, a nice-sized storm cloud was looming overhead. But rather than quit we used the awesome clouds and lighting (not to mention lightning) to our advantage! Thank you guys again for bearing with the crazy weather--it made for some great pictures. I'm so excited about your upcoming November wedding too!

Sarah and Elias are Engaged!

Sarah and Elias were absolutely adorable last Sunday during their engagement shoot. They definitely were cracking me up by the end of it! Thanks for a great shoot and I'm looking forward to your July wedding!

Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day we were in the mountains with Beau's family--a weekend of sprinklers, cookouts and s'mores! During a Sunday afternoon stroll we found a tree that was packed with carvings and initials and I couldn't resist doing something fun with the shots.

Ginny and Sarah (our nieces) are growing up so quickly, so I was happy to do some shots of their most recent ballet recital outfits for Katie. They are so cute!

The Gerry Family

Ok, now that things have slowed down a little, I finally have a chance to breathe!

A week ago we were down in Jacksonville and I had the chance to catch the Gerry family for some beach fun. It was a great time--they are incredibly photogenic in case you can't tell! I loved the energy that the kids had, it made for some fun shots. Thanks William and Charlotte, your pictures should be ready in about another week!

Ruth and Jeremy's upcoming addition

I am so thrilled that close friend (and favorite model of mine) Ruth is just about to have her first baby! Her and Jeremy are expecting baby Isaac sometime this month--needless to say we all have a bet going and my money is on May 17th! Don't let me down Ruth!
