Tinsel and Toddies

This holiday season I was honored to be commissioned by Arden again--this time to photograph the Young Professionals of Birmingham's ( http://www.ypbirmingham.com ) Tinsel and Toddies beneficiary for Red Mountain Park ( http://www.redmountainpark.org/ ). Santa showed up at the Amani Raha Martini Bar to join in the festivities and fun. It was a pleasure being a part of the fundraiser, thanks again to Arden and Amy Bailey for this wonderful opportunity!

Lisa and Kasey's Arizona Wedding

Lisa and Kasey's Tucson wedding couldn't have been more beautiful! The two were so much fun, as we roamed the city streets and the grounds at the Z Mansion, taking pictures and enjoying the warm weather. The entire wedding party was wonderful--they truly matched Kasey and Lisa's energetic and fun-loving personalities! Thanks again to you both for allowing us to be a part of your special day. Enjoy!

Arizona Here We Come!

The office will be closed from December 14-18. We will be in Tucson, AZ this coming weekend! Not only do I love going out west, but I am equally thrilled that Lisa and Kasey are allowing us to shoot their wedding! I had the honor of shooting their engagement photos over a year ago and have since been thrilled to watched how their relationship has grown over the months. Look for some photos from their big day...I'm sure its going to be a blast! Happy Holidays and please feel free to leave a voicemail if you need to get a hold of me.

Coffee Anyone?

Anyone who's met me for more than a day knows that coffee is my other passion--second only to photography! Years of working as a Barista always made me want to share its wonderful qualities with everyone! I even helped open a chain in Alaska!Needless to say, that was certainly the hardest job for me to quit. So while I was originally offended by being called a Cup of Joe, (mainly because I prefer a straight shot of espresso over just a cup of joe), I saw what they were trying to describe. Just thought it'd be a fun thing to share with you all! Kinda makes me want some more coffee...

You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated
You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys
Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.
And your dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.

Brenda and Chris

I have to put some of these adorable engagement photos up. Brenda and Chris were absolute troopers as we did an entire photo shoot in the rain. I have to admit, I was a little nervous with my equipment. But we made our way around downtown ok, and the rain came and went enough to allow for a great shoot. What an awesome time! Thanks again guys for being so adventurous!

North Carolina Family Portraits

This past weekend was so much fun! I had the priviledge to photograph 7 different families in 2 days, and couldn't have had more fun doing it! We traveled all the way to Winston Salem, NC and were able to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather while we shot. Every group had so much personality and character that there was never a dull moment. Here is just a sample of some shots taken. Thanks to all who participated, and look for your pictures to be up in about 3 weeks. For info on scheduling a family portrait shoot (especially in time for the holidays) contact the studio at 904.874.4526.

Nikki and Drew

Nikki and Drew tied the knot this weekend in good ol' country fashion! I just had to show you all how much fun we had as we celebrated with Nikki and Drew. Her colors were just amazing against the mountainous backdrop. Complete with a barefoot bride and flannel-wearing groomesmen, this wedding was absolutely adorable! Thanks again Nikki and Drew for letting Beau and I take part in your special day. It was a BLAST! We love you guys!
p.s. The rest of the pictures will be up in 3-4 weeks. Thanks!

Supper Source

Last week I was commissioned by Impression's Food Co. to photograph their newest and greatest venture. Supper Source is the fastest and healtiest solution to your dinner dilemna. So how does it work? You sign up when it is most convenient for you. The food is fully prepped, and just needs assembled, according to the recipe and your preferences! Dislike onions? Leave 'em out! Next you package the dinners to go, take them home, and freeze them until YOU are ready! Its that simple! Cooking directions come with each meal, and you have a choice of several different meal plans, ranging from 10 meals (4-6 people) to 5 meals (2-3 people). I've personally tried it for Beau and I, and love this new dinner revolution that is popping up nationwide! Give Impression's Food Co. a call to sign up! 423.614.4051

First Anniversary

A couple weeks ago Beau and I celebrated our first anniversary in the gorgeous city of Savannah. It was great exploring a new city together, and our stay was made complete at the Dresser Palmer House. The hospitality was truly a pleasant taste of the deep south. Between the long cozy front porch, equipped with rocking chairs and privacy, and the evening socials with cheese and wine, the Dresser Palmer definitly earned two thumbs up from us. The service, as well as the food, made us wish we could've stayed longer. If you're ever in the Savannah area, I highly recommend you check out this historic home, located right next to Forsyth Park. Check out some of our pictures as we ventured through the city. Visit www.dresserpalmerhouse.com for more info.
